At our first events of the year, we talked about embracing our own finitude and shared Wake Up Stories. You can get a sense of the buzz at the London event via this reel. Here's what we got up to...
Thinking about a life in weeks...
Wake Up Stories
After having a chat about how the concept of 4k weeks makes us feel, we spoke to some fellow RBC members about moments in their lives that have made their awareness, or experience of time more heightened. We called this segment, Wake Up Stories.
Ideas to explore
We love turning insights into action, so we talked about some of these big concepts + actions we can implement in our own lives.
These slides could be good talking points to bring along to a Rebel Coffee - sign-up links go out in the Monday club newsletters.
Organisations doing good things with their time...
Finally, we heard from Bookmark Reading. Bookmark give children the reading skills and confidence they need for a fair chance in life, through their flexible volunteer-led program - which is delivered online through an innovative app.
The opportunities are in 6 week blocks and involve two 30-minute sessions each week with a child who needs extra support with their reading. This can be either face-to-face in a local primary school, or virtually through our secure online platform.
